<p>Has the same grin and eyes as&nbsp;<a href="/grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes/">😄 Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes</a>&nbsp;but with a single, blue bead of sweat, usually over its left eye. Intended to depict nerves or discomfort but commonly used to express a close call, as if saying <em>Whew!</em> and wiping sweat from the forehead.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A yellow face with scrunched, X-shaped eyes and a big grin, sticking out its <a href="/tongue/">tongue</a>. Often conveys a sense of fun, excitement, playfulness, hilarity, and happiness, as if saying <i>Squee!</i> or <i>Awesome! </i></p>

<p>The eyes and mouth slip down the face, yet still maintain a distorted smile. This quality lends this emoji to sarcasm.</p>

<p>Released on 5 March 2024 for iOS 17.4 and iPadOS 17.4, this was the first version of iOS to support the 118 new emojis in <a href="/emoji-15.1">Emoji 15.1</a>, including various direction-specific people emojis.</p>

<p>Released on 14&nbsp;March 2022, this was the first version of iOS to support the 112 new emojis in&nbsp;<a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>, including various multiple skin tone versions of the <a href="/handshake/">🤝 Handshake</a> emoji.</p>

<p>This Apple emoji update changed the appearance of the <a href="/face-with-hand-over-mouth/">🤭&nbsp;Face with Hand Over Mouth</a>&nbsp;emoji to be more consistent with the designs of other vendors, with this emoji&#39;s originaly design being given to the new <a href="/emoji-14.0/">🫢 Face with Open Eyes and Hand Over Mouth</a>&nbsp;emoji.</p>

<p>Released on 2021-05-24, this update changed the appearance&nbsp;of the various&nbsp;<a href="/person-climbing/">🧗 Person Climbing</a> emojis to have the person wearing a safety helmet.</p>

iOS 14.6

<p>New emojis from Apple for 2021 available as part of&nbsp;iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and macOS 11.3.</p>

<p>This Apple emoji update changed the appearance of the&nbsp;<a href="/syringe/">💉&nbsp;Syringe</a>&nbsp;emoji&nbsp;to remove the blood, and added mixed skin tone support to&nbsp;<a href="/kiss/">💏&nbsp;Kiss</a> and <a href="/couple-with-heart/">💑&nbsp;Couple with Heart</a>.</p>

iOS 12.1

<p>iOS 11.3 was a minor update to the iOS emoji set. The main change in this release is the modification of four emojis used in Apple&#39;s separate Animoji feature.
