Emoji Meaning

A small piece of candy wrapped in plastic or wax paper with twists on its ends. Shape and color vary widely by platform. Facebook’s design used to resemble a classic unwrapped red-and-white peppermint. May also be called sweets or lollies.

Candy was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
