May be used as a weather icon to represent thunderstorms.

Not to be confused with ⛈️ Cloud With Lightning and Rain, though their applications may overlap.

Samsung’s cloud was previously bluish with two lightning bolts.

Cloud With Lightning was approved as part of Unicode 7.0 in 2014 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
