Beginning rollout across global Facebook users in July, Facebook&#39;s 2020 emoji update&nbsp;included brand new emojis from <a href="/emoji-12.1/">Emoij 12.1</a> and <a href="/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a> as well as new gender neutral designs for a large number of previously-released people emojis.

The update did&nbsp;not, however, include the&nbsp;<a href="/people-holding-hands/">🧑&zwj;🤝&zwj;🧑 People Holding Hands</a>&nbsp;or <a href="/person-bald/">🧑&zwj;🦲&nbsp;Person: Bald</a> variations recommended in <a href="/emoji-12.1/">Emoji 12.1</a>.

Facebook began testing this emoji update&nbsp;in September 2016. This updat&nbsp;showed&nbsp;for all website users as of February 2017.
