This version is still available when using the <a href="http://www.htc.com/us/software/htc-sync-manager/">HTC Sync Manager</a> app.</p>

<p>HTC Sense 8 added support for smileys in&nbsp;<a href="/emoji-5.0/">Emoji 5.0</a>&nbsp;but&nbsp;removed all other custom emoji designs. Most emojis on modern HTC devices now use the&nbsp;<a href="/google/">Google Emoji set</a>. Sense 9.0 <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/farewell-to-htc-emojis/">does not make any additional changes</a> to the emoji set available in Sense 8.</p>
