The following characters were amongst those added to Unicode in 2008, the majority of which were given&nbsp;emoji presentation status in the years 2010-2015.

Emojis from Microsoft are&nbsp;supported on PCs and tablets&nbsp;running Windows 11, Windows 10, as well as Xbox. There were also available on Windows phones prior to them being&nbsp;discontinued. These are provided by the Segoe UI Emoji font, although some applications continue to show black and white emojis from an earlier release.

As of the <a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-11-november-2021-update/">Windows 11&nbsp;November 2021 </a>update, the platform includes the <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/new-fluent-emoji-designs-from-microsoft/">new Fluent emoji design set</a>&nbsp;that was first previewed ahead of 2021&#39;s <a href="/ko/world-emoji-day/">World Emoji Day</a>. Windows 10&#39;s last emoji update was the&nbsp;<a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-10-may-2019-update/">May 2019 Update</a>, which supported emoji from up to early 2019&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="/ko/emoji-12.0/">Emoji 12.0</a>.

Note: <a href="/ko/microsoft-teams/">Microsoft Teams </a>and <a href="/ko/skype/">Skype</a> use&nbsp;a different emoticon set with an alternative animated design.

Microsoft Emoji List — Emojis for Windows 11, Windows 10 and Xbox

Beginning its rollout on 2022-09-20, Window 11&#39;s 22H2 update introduced support for <a href="/ko/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> emojis such as <a href="/ko/%EC%82%AC%EB%A5%B4%EB%A5%B4-%EB%85%B9%EB%8A%94-%EC%96%BC%EA%B5%B4/">🫠 Melting Face</a>, <a href="/ko/%EA%B2%BD%EB%A1%80%ED%95%98%EB%8A%94-%EC%96%BC%EA%B5%B4/">🫡 Saluting Face</a>, and <a href="/ko/%EC%86%90-%ED%95%98%ED%8A%B8/">🫶 Heart Hands</a>.

This update also revised a number of previous-released emoji designs.&nbsp;Notably, the colored heart emojis such as&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%EB%B9%A8%EA%B0%84%EC%83%89-%ED%95%98%ED%8A%B8/">❤️ Red Heart</a> were given additional details.

Additionally, each of the hand gesutre and people emojis without a skin tone modifier were given a revised base skin tone color.

Windows 11 22H2

Beginning its rollout on 2021-11-22, Window 11&#39;s November 2021 update redesigned all of Microsoft&#39;s emojis, officially launching the <a href="https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2021/11/22/express-yourself-with-new-emoji-now-available-in-windows-11/">2D incarnation</a> of the platform&#39;s Fluent&nbsp;emoji set. The&nbsp;Fluent&nbsp;redesign was <a href="https://medium.com/microsoft-design/emotionality-at-work-398182387adc">first&nbsp;previewed</a> ahead of <a href="https://worldemojiday.com/">World Emoji Day</a> 2021.

This update was the first to support <a href="/ko/emoji-13.1/">Emoji 13.1</a>&nbsp;recommendations such as&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%EB%B6%88-%EB%82%9C-%ED%95%98%ED%8A%B8/">❤️&zwj;🔥 Heart on Fire</a>&nbsp;and <a href="/ko/%EA%B3%B5%EC%83%81%EC%97%90-%EC%9E%A0%EA%B8%B4-%EC%96%BC%EA%B5%B4/">😶&zwj;🌫️ Face in Clouds</a> on Windows.

Windows 11 November 2021 Update

Microsoft Windows 11&nbsp;launched&nbsp;on 2021-10-05, and was the first version of Windows update to support&nbsp;<a href="/ko/emoji-12.1/">Emoji 12.1</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="/ko/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>. Emojis in this release are displayed in the thick outlined&nbsp;Segoe Color Emoji&nbsp;style from Windows 10, instead of the <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/new-fluent-emoji-designs-from-microsoft/">Fluent designs</a> previewed ahead of <a href="https://worldemojiday.com/">World Emoji Day 2021</a>.

Support for <a href="/ko/emoji-12.1/">Emoji 12.1</a>&nbsp;and <a href="/ko/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>&nbsp;was initially made available via Windows 10 Insiders Builds <a href="https://twitter.com/Emojipedia/status/1337183890063187971">in December 2020</a>.

Windows 10 April 2018 Update (commonly referred to as&nbsp;Spring Creators Update&nbsp;prior to release) was released on April 30, 2018 and includes a number of <a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-10-april-2018-update/changed/">changes</a> to emoji appearance mainly to bring emoji design in line with other platforms. Windows 10 April 2018 Update

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is the major release that followed <a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-10-creators-update/">Windows 10 Creators Update</a>. Released on October 17, 2017 this update added support for <a href="/ko/emoji-5.0/">Emoji 5.0</a> and changed the appearance of a number of existing emojis.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Windows 10 Creators Update was the first major&nbsp;emoji update from Microsoft in 2017.

Windows 10 Creators Update

Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version&nbsp;1607), aka &quot;Emojiversary Update&quot;&nbsp;was <a href="https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/06/29/windows-10-anniversary-update-available-august-2/">released</a> on August 2, 2016 and&nbsp;included&nbsp;a complete redesign of every emoji in the Segoe UI Emoji font.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update

The first release of Windows 10, version 1507,&nbsp;added support for emoji <a href="/ko/emoji-modifier-sequence/">modifiers</a>, as well as other changes to <a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/windows-10-emoji-changelog/">increase cross-platform consistency</a>. It was otherwise similar to <a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-8.1/">Windows 8.1</a>.

This release was superceded by <a href="/ko/microsoft/windows-10-anniversary-update/">Windows 10 Anniversary Update</a> on August 2, 2016.
