The Unicode Consortium has approved the following 41 emoji characters as part of <a href="http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode8.0.0/">Unicode 8.0</a>, released on June 17, 2015. LG Emoji List [Updated: September 2021]

From early 2021, Android 11 began rollout out for LG Velvet devices in select regions.

Alongside Android 11 came the first update LG&#39;s emoji set <a href="/lg/g5/">since early 2016</a>, which reintroduced the vendor&rsquo;s own emoji set to eligible devices. From 2017 until this update, LG devices used the <a href="/google/">stock Android emoji set</a> from Google.

This update introduced emojis from 2016&#39;s <a href="/people/">Emoji 3.0</a>&nbsp;up to 2019&rsquo;s <a href="/emoji-12.0/">Emoji 12.0</a> to the LG emoji set. It also revised many emoji designs within the <a href="/people/">😃 Smileys &amp; People</a> category.
