The front page of a newspaper, as people once read the news before the internet. Commonly used for various content concerning news, media, and journalism as well as personal news.

Most platforms depict a nondescript masthead, images, and columns of text. Apple’s newspaper is called The Apple Times, featuring a logo based on its 🦅 Eagle and a picture of its 🌋 Volcano. Facebook’s is called Daily Feed, with a headline “El Capitan” and picture of that famous rock formation in Yosemite National Park. WhatsApp’s paper reads Daily News with a picture of a map.

Newspaper was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
