The design of this emoji varies, with most platforms opting for leather-looking styles in brown or orange. Samsung&rsquo;s design <a href="/no/samsung/experience-9.0/h%C3%A5ndveske/">used to be pink</a>, but is now light brown. Twitter&rsquo;s purple design stands out among the other platforms.

A large department store, selling a range of products to the general public. Shown as a large building with a billboard.

Kjøpesenter

A suitcase or bag, as used for traveling. Most platforms depict gray or blue rolling luggage with an extended handle. Commonly used for various content concerning traveling or taking trips, whether for business or leisure.

Apple&rsquo;s design features an old-fashioned, leather, trunk-styled case with graphic <a href="https://www.citylab.com/design/2013/05/lost-art-luggage-labels/5652/">luggage labels</a>/stickers, not to be confused with <a href="/no/dokumentmappe/">💼&nbsp;Briefcase</a> or <a href="/no/h%C3%A5ndveske/">👜&nbsp;Handbag</a>. Google and Facebook also include such stickers.

May be stored in a <a href="/no/bagasjeoppbevaring/">🛅 Coin Locker</a> or inspected at <a href="/no/toll/">🛃&nbsp;Customs</a>.

Bagasje

A wristwatch, as used for telling time. Appearance varies across platforms, but widely depicted as an analog timepiece with a white face and brown or black straps.

Used for various content concerning time, including watches as accessories. Apple&#39;s design is an Apple Watch, though <a href="/no/apple/ios-6.0/armb%C3%A5ndsur/">previously featured</a> a traditional watch before the product&rsquo;s release.

Armbåndsur

A small pouch with a clasp, generally used to hold coins. Sometimes called a &ldquo;coin purse.&rdquo;

Color varies by platform, though most platforms have a pink, blue, or turquoise bag with a silver or gold (gray or yellow) clasp.

Not to be confused with <a href="/no/clutch-veske/">👝 Clutch Bag</a>, which can look like a coin person on some platforms, due to lack of relative scale in emoji designs.

Portemoné

A small pouch, somewhere between the size of a <a title="👜 Handbag" href="/no/h%C3%A5ndveske/">handbag</a>, and a <a title="👛 Purse" href="/no/portemon%C3%A9/">purse</a>.

Clutch-Veske

Two colorful shopping bags, as contain&nbsp;consumer items bought at a <a href="/no/kj%C3%B8pesenter/">department store</a>. Depicted as gift bags in various bright colors, patterns, sizes, and positions across platforms. Apple&#39;s design, for instance, features a pink bag with light-pink dots in front of a gold bag with yellow stripes.

Commonly used for various content concerning retail shopping, stores, goods, and <a href="/no/gave/">gifts or presents</a>. May also convey a sense of indulgence or self-care, &agrave; la retail therapy.

Microsoft&rsquo;s design <a href="/no/microsoft/windows-10-anniversary-update/handleposer/">previously</a> included&nbsp;tissue paper, and was depicted as&nbsp;a <a href="/no/microsoft/windows-10/handleposer/">bag of groceries</a> prior to that.

Handleposer

A school bag Emoji (also called a satchel) used by children attending school to carry books, lunch, and other personal belongings.

Skolesekk

Lipstick&nbsp;shown with&nbsp;the lid removed. Displays in a shade of red on most platforms, except WhatsApp and Twitter which have a more&nbsp;a pinkish color.

Leppestift

A place to store notes and other office materials. Primarily used by older people.

Generally&nbsp;shown as a brown case with a handle on top, and a silver or gold colored clasp on the front. Facebook shows two leather straps on the front.

Dokumentmappe

An icon representing the place where <a href="/no/bagasje">luggage</a> can be collected from after the completion of a journey on the likes of an <a href="/no/fly">airplane</a> or <a href="/no/ferge">ferry</a>.

Microsoft Emoji List — Emojis for Windows 11, Windows 10 and Xbox

Beginning its global rollout on 2024-06-25, this Windows11 23H2 update (KB5039302 - OS Builds 22621.3810 and 22631.3810)&nbsp;introduced support for <a href="/no/emoji-15.1">Emoji 15.1</a> to both the flat and 3D versions of the Fluent emoji design set.

Windows 11 23H2 June 2024 Update

Beginning its global rollout on 2023-10-31, the Windows11 23H2 update introduced support for Emoji 15.0&nbsp;to the flat versions of the&nbsp;Fluent emoji design set used by the OS since its November 2021 update.

This update also redesigned a selection of emojis within the flat Fluent set. These redesigns include many smiley emojis&nbsp;having the size and positioning of their dotted black pupils subtly modified, the&nbsp;🙏 Folded Hands being shown&nbsp;isometrically, the 👽 Alien changed from grey to green once again, and the previously atypical width of the vendor&#39;s four-person family emoji designs&nbsp;being revised.

Additionally, a bug appears to have swapped the designs of the various&nbsp;🧏&zwj;♂️ Deaf Man and&nbsp;🧏&zwj;♀️ Deaf Woman emojis.

Windows 11 23H2

Beginning its rollout on 2022-09-20, Window 11&#39;s 22H2 update introduced support for <a href="/no/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> emojis such as <a href="/no/smeltende-ansikt/">🫠 Melting Face</a>, <a href="/no/ansikt-som-gj%C3%B8r-honn%C3%B8r/">🫡 Saluting Face</a>, and <a href="/no/hender-som-former-et-hjerte/">🫶 Heart Hands</a>.

This update also revised a number of previous-released emoji designs.&nbsp;Notably, the colored heart emojis such as&nbsp;<a href="/no/r%C3%B8dt-hjerte/">❤️ Red Heart</a> were given additional details.

Additionally, each of the hand gesutre and people emojis without a skin tone modifier were given a revised base skin tone color.

Windows 11 22H2

Beginning its rollout on 2021-11-22, Window 11&#39;s November 2021 update redesigned all of Microsoft&#39;s emojis, officially launching the <a href="https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2021/11/22/express-yourself-with-new-emoji-now-available-in-windows-11/">2D incarnation</a> of the platform&#39;s Fluent&nbsp;emoji set. The&nbsp;Fluent&nbsp;redesign was <a href="https://medium.com/microsoft-design/emotionality-at-work-398182387adc">first&nbsp;previewed</a> ahead of <a href="https://worldemojiday.com/">World Emoji Day</a> 2021.

This update was the first to support <a href="/no/emoji-13.1/">Emoji 13.1</a>&nbsp;recommendations such as&nbsp;<a href="/no/hjerte-i-brann/">❤️&zwj;🔥 Heart on Fire</a>&nbsp;and <a href="/no/fjes-i-skyer/">😶&zwj;🌫️ Face in Clouds</a> on Windows.

Windows 11 November 2021 Update

Microsoft Windows 11&nbsp;launched&nbsp;on 2021-10-05, and was the first version of Windows update to support&nbsp;<a href="/no/emoji-12.1/">Emoji 12.1</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="/no/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>. Emojis in this release are displayed in the thick outlined&nbsp;Segoe Color Emoji&nbsp;style from Windows 10, instead of the <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/new-fluent-emoji-designs-from-microsoft/">Fluent designs</a> previewed ahead of <a href="https://worldemojiday.com/">World Emoji Day 2021</a>.

Support for <a href="/no/emoji-12.1/">Emoji 12.1</a>&nbsp;and <a href="/no/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>&nbsp;was initially made available via Windows 10 Insiders Builds <a href="https://twitter.com/Emojipedia/status/1337183890063187971">in December 2020</a>.
