Emoji Meaning

A pot, as a casserole dish, filled with a warm and hearty beef or vegetable stew on most platforms. Generally used for eating and cooking (“a meal”), and commonly associated with soup or Japanese nabe.

Samsung’s design previously resembled a bowl of ramen or other noodle dish, with chopsticks.

Pot of Food was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
