This emoji came to also mean &quot;slacking off&quot; or&nbsp;evading responsibility&nbsp;in Japan, due to the BK letters&nbsp;being associated with the slang term <a href="https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ばっくれる">bakkureru</a>.

Some vendors feature easter eggs: Apple&rsquo;s design features <a href="https://www.mactrast.com/2017/05/who-exactly-is-john-appleseed/">John Appleseed</a> in the signature and a security code of 448 and&nbsp;Facebook&rsquo;s design features founder <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Zuckerberg">Mark Zuckerberg&rsquo;s</a> signature and a security code of 123. Samsung&rsquo;s design <a href="/samsung/experience-9.0/credit-card/">previously </a>included the initials KJH.

Credit Card

The features of this particular disguised face are taken from the &ldquo;Groucho Mask&rdquo; or &ldquo;Groucho Glasses,&rdquo; designed in the likeness of the caricature played by Julius Henry Marx in the Marx Brothers&#39; films. These comedic films were popular in the 1930s and &lsquo;40s, and the mask has been a mainstay of joke shops since <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2000/06/18/books/there-ain-t-no-sanity-claus.html">as early as the 1940s</a>.
