📺 Television

A television set, used to display broadcasts over the air (terrestrial). Can also be used as a screen for various input sources such as a cable box, console, or media streamer.

Displayed with a “rabbit ears” antenna on the top in most versions, except Microsoft which shows a more modern flat screen television.

Television was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
