Most commonly known as a ✌️&nbsp;Peace Sign, but traditionally called&nbsp;as a Victory Hand.&nbsp;Two&nbsp;fingers held up on one hand making a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_sign">V sign</a>.

The reverse of this symbol is considered an offence gesture in <a href="/flag-united-kingdom/" title="🇬🇧 Flag For United Kingdom">British</a> culture, similar to giving the <a href="/middle-finger/" title="🖕 Reversed Hand With Middle Finger Extended">middle finger</a>.

Victory Hand

A hand waving most commonly used to say &ldquo;hello&rdquo; or &ldquo;goodbye&rdquo;.

This emoji can be used to convey a sense of <a href="https://youtu.be/ukJmB4rLNKA?t=2m">not being friends any more</a>&nbsp;when used on WeChat in China.

A gesture showing the index finger and&nbsp;thumb touching&nbsp;to make an open circle. Represents &ldquo;I&rsquo;m okay&rdquo; or &ldquo;yes, that&rsquo;s correct / good&rdquo;.

In American Sign Language (ASL), the number nine is represented with this gesture. The same hand sign can be seen as offensive in some cultures, including in parts of Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

This can also be used as&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/no-the-ok-hand-is-not-a-symbol-of-white-power/">a&nbsp;symbol of White Supremacy</a>, depending on context.

OK Hand Sign

A hand with thumb and index finger in close proximity. Used to suggest that&nbsp;something is small, or to gesture a&nbsp;small amount.

Pinching Hand

A&nbsp;fingers crossed emoji which&nbsp;displays&nbsp;the&nbsp;index (first) finger crossed over the&nbsp;middle (second)&nbsp;finger. Commonly used as a gesture indicating&nbsp;luck, or to show&nbsp;desire of a favorable outcome.

This emoji was <a href="/samsung/touchwiz-7.1/crossed-fingers/">previously</a> displayed with an additional finger on Samsung devices.

The gesture for&nbsp;&ldquo;I love you&rdquo;&nbsp;in American Sign Language, shown as a raised pinky (little) finger, index finger, and an extended thumb.

Thumbs Up Sign

A fist raised in the air that may be used as a celebratory gesture: the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fist_pump">fist pump</a>.&nbsp;Can also be used to represent <a href="/keycap-digit-zero/" title="0⃣ Keycap 0">zero</a> items, due to a lack of any fingers being held up.

Sometimes used as a symbol of&nbsp;<a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/the-resistance-will-be-emojified/">resistance</a>&nbsp;or defiance. Variations with darker skin tone are commonly used <a href="/raised-fist-dark-skin-tone/">to represent the #BlackLivesMatter movement</a>.

Raised Fist

A fist displayed in a&nbsp;position to punch someone, or to fist-bump another person.

Shown as a right hand on all supported platforms. An equivalent left-handed version does not exist.

Fisted Hand Sign

Two hands performing a handshake gesture, indicating a&nbsp;cordial greeting between friends or associates.

As of late 2021&#39;s <a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> recommendations, this emoji design has multiple <a href="/emoji-modifier-sequence/">skin tone modifier</a> options. Handshake

The face of a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicorn">unicorn</a>, a mythical creature in the form of a white <a href="/horse/">horse</a> with a single, long horn on its forehead. Generally depicted as a white horse head facing left with a pink or purple mane and a yellow or rainbow-colored horn.

In addition to the mythical unicorn, may be used to convey whimsy, fantasy, uniqueness, specialness, peace, and love. Often used for various content related to the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_symbols#Unicorns">LGBTQ community</a>, thanks in part to its <a href="/rainbow-flag/">rainbow</a> colors on many platforms. Also often used in association with &ldquo;unicorn&rdquo; startups. Sometimes used as a rainbow or holographic accent color.

Vendors implement the emoji with the same or similar design as <a href="/horse-face/">🐴 Horse Face</a>, but with colorful hair and a horn.

WhatsApp&rsquo;s unicorn is facing right. Google&rsquo;s unicorn <a href="/google/android-7.0/unicorn/">previously</a> had a brown mane, <a href="/samsung/experience-9.0/unicorn/">Samsung&rsquo;s</a> a pink mane. Twitter&rsquo;s unicorn was <a href="/twitter/twemoji-2.0/unicorn/">previously</a> purple-colored with a blue mane.

Unicorn Face

A dove carrying an olive branch, a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doves_as_symbols">symbol</a> of <a href="/peace-symbol/">peace</a> in Western and Judeo-Christian culture. Depicted as a white bird in full profile facing left, flying as it holds a green sprig in its beak.

Commonly used to represent such sentiments as peace, love, hope, and reconciliation.

Microsoft&rsquo;s dove was previously flying right, without an olive branch.

Peace Symbol

A square icon with rounded sides containing the letters &quot;VS&quot;. Generally depicted as being orange in color.
