A baby with a halo and wings. Can represent a sweet baby, a biblical cherub, a mythological cupid, a decorative putto, or an angel as a supernatural being in general. This emoji can&nbsp;be used earnestly or&nbsp;in a tongue-in-cheek way to talk about goodness or innocence.

It is often used to express affection for people, especially children at birth or, more sadly, after death. A parrot, a brightly colored bird known for its ability to mimic speech. Depicted in full profile facing left. Unicode 15.0 is the version of the Unicode Standard&nbsp;released on&nbsp;September 13, 2022. 20&nbsp;new emoji&nbsp;code points were added in this release,&nbsp;with all 31 new emojis (including sequences)&nbsp;listed under <a href="/zh/emoji-15.0/">Emoji 15.0</a>.

Unicode 15.0 introduced a total of 5,185 new characters, including the 20 new emoji codepoints listed below. This brought the total number of characters encoded within Unicode to&nbsp;149,186 characters.

Google emoji images are used on most Android devices, Gmail Web Interface, Google Meet, and ChromeOS. These are provided as part of the&nbsp;<a href="https://github.com/googlei18n/noto-emoji">Noto Emoji</a> project. These images are also used for&nbsp;<a href="/zh/slack/">Slack</a> on non-Apple platforms including Windows, Linux, and Android.

Gboard also includes an emoji mashup feature known as&nbsp;Emoji Kitchen which allows two emojis to be combined into a sticker. Thousands of combinations are available, using Gboard for Android and Google search.

The Google Noto Color Emoji set is used as the default emoji set on mobile devices manufactured by the likes of&nbsp;Xiaomi,&nbsp;Oppo,&nbsp;Huawei, Sony,&nbsp;and of course Google.

There are also two additional Noto Emoji variants: the&nbsp;minimalist <a href="/zh/noto-emoji/">Noto Emoji font</a>, and an <a href="/zh/animated-noto-color-emoji/">animated subset of Noto Color Emoji</a> designs used by the Messages by Google mobile app.

First made available via Google&#39;s <a href="https://fonts.google.com/noto/specimen/Noto+Color+Emoji">Noto Color Emoji</a> font page on 2024-09-10, this update is expected to be released progressively across different Google platforms such as Chrome OS, Gmail, YouTube, and various Android devices.

First made available via Github on 2023-11-17, this update was released progressively across different Google platforms such as Chrome OS, Gmail, YouTube, and various Android devices.
