蜗牛

A bug, or insect, generally depicted as a caterpillar, which becomes a <a href="/zh/%E8%9D%B4%E8%9D%B6/">🦋 Butterfly</a>. Shown in full profile facing left, inching&nbsp;up on the back&nbsp;of its green, segmented, and&nbsp;textured body. Often featuring&nbsp;black stripes or yellow dots and tentacles on its head.

May be used to represent various insects, worms, and related animals. May also be used for&nbsp;metaphorical senses of bug.

Twitter&rsquo;s bug is purple. Apple&rsquo;s bug is hairy with a red head and legs and black stripes on its body. Facebook&rsquo;s&nbsp;bug also has a yellowish-orange head. <a href="/zh/google/android-7.0/%E6%AF%9B%E6%AF%9B%E8%99%AB/">Google</a> and <a href="/zh/microsoft/windows-10/%E6%AF%9B%E6%AF%9B%E8%99%AB/">Microsoft&rsquo;s</a> bugs previously resembled an orange centipede or millipede, and <a href="/zh/samsung/experience-9.0/%E6%AF%9B%E6%AF%9B%E8%99%AB/">Samsung&rsquo;s</a> had a cartoon-styled face with a purple nose.

A green or brown beetle shown with antennae and six legs. Can be used to talk about beetles, bugs, or insects in general.

Can be used to talk about cockroaches or insects in general. May also be used metaphorically as an insult to call a person a pest, an annoyance, or to suggest they are subhuman. &nbsp;&nbsp;

蟑螂

A spider, an eight-legged <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnid">arachnid</a> that spins a web. Depicted as a common black spider, as a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_house_spider">house&nbsp;spider</a>&nbsp;or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_funnel-web_spider">funnel-web spider</a>, often shown from above with its large abdomen oriented at the bottom.

蜘蛛

A scorpion, an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnid">arachnid</a> with <a href="/zh/%E9%BE%99%E8%99%BE/">lobster</a>-like pincers and a stinging tail. Depicted as a light-brown scorpion from above, often facing left, with its pincers and curving stinger raised. Shown with six or, accurately, eight legs in addition to its pincers.

Often used to represent <a href="/zh/%E5%A4%A9%E8%9D%8E%E5%BA%A7/">♏ Scorpio</a> in the Western zodiac.

WhatsApp&rsquo;s scorpion is reddish in color.

A fly with a dark or iridescent green body, six legs, and two translucent wings. On most platforms, its eyes are red.

Unicode 13.0 is the version of the Unicode Standard&nbsp;released on&nbsp;March 10, 2020. 55 new emoji&nbsp;code points were added in this release,&nbsp;with all 117 new emojis for 2020 (including sequences for gender and skin tone)&nbsp;listed under <a href="/zh/emoji-13.0">Emoji 13.0</a>.

Unicode 13.0 introduced a total of 5,930&nbsp;new characters, including the 55 new emoji code points listed below. This brought the total number of characters encoded within Unicode to&nbsp;143,859.

Samsung devices use <a href="https://news.samsung.com/global/samsungs-emoji-suite-makes-for-a-more-emotional-digital-world">their own emoji designs</a>&nbsp;which are different to those used on other <a href="/zh/google/">Android devices</a>. These&nbsp;glossy emojis&nbsp;appear on devices such as the Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy Note series and are updated as part of the Samsung One UI interface layer (previously Samsung Experience, before that Samsung TouchWiz)&nbsp;which runs on top of Android.

Note that Samsung users may see select emojis display as their <a href="/zh/google/">Google</a>&nbsp;set design. This is due to <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/faster-emoji-updates-on-the-way-for-android-apps/">Android AppCompat</a>, which will display a Google emoji design within an app or web platform&nbsp;when a Samsung device has not yet been updated to support that particular emoji.

Since the introduction of Samsung&#39;s emoji set in 2014, various Unicode characters that have not been recommended to have emoji presentation have nevertheless been given a colorful emoji design on Samsung platforms. Samsung Emoji List — Emojis for Samsung Galaxy, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Z Fold [Updated 2024]

First released in July 2024 for Samsung&#39;s Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 devices, the&nbsp;One UI 6.1.1&nbsp;began its broader rollout in early September 2024.

This update revised the designs of every&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E6%97%97%E5%B8%9C">🎌 Flag</a> emoji and various emojis from the&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E7%89%A9%E4%BD%93">💡 Objects</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E7%AC%A6%E5%8F%B7">💕 Symbols</a>&nbsp;categories.

One UI 6.1.1

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices on 28 March 2024, Samsung&#39;s One UI 6.1&nbsp;revised a considerable number of previously available emoji designs.

Many emojis had subtle modifications made to their outline, contrast, and shading, including the majority of&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E7%AC%91%E8%84%B8%E5%92%8C%E4%BA%BA">🧑 People</a> emojis. Meanwhile, many emojis within&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E6%97%85%E8%A1%8C%E5%92%8C%E5%9C%B0%E7%82%B9">🚀 Travel &amp; Places</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E7%89%A9%E4%BD%93">💡 Objects</a> categories were given more extensive redesigns.&nbsp;

One UI 6.1

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices on 30&nbsp;October 2023, Samsung&#39;s One UI 6.0&nbsp;featured a completely new design style for the majority of the vendor&#39;s emojis.

All smiley, food, and animal emoji designs have been revised in this update, as have the majority of the people emojis.

This is the most significant revision of the vendor&#39;s emoji set since&nbsp;February 2018&#39;s&nbsp;Experience 9.0 update, which introduced a significant number of design revisions that were consistent with those used on other platforms.

This update also introduced support for the 2023 Emoji 15.1 recommendation list.

One UI 6.0

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices from October 2022, Samsung&#39;s One UI 5.0 provided support for both&nbsp;2021&#39;s <a href="/zh/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> and 2022&#39;s <a href="/zh/emoji-15.0/">Emoji 15.0</a>&nbsp;recommendations.

Prior to the release of One UI 5.0, many Samsung users may have seen support for <a href="/zh/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>&nbsp;emojis provided via <a href="/zh/google/">Google&#39;s emoji design set</a>. This was due to Google&#39;s expansion of&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/faster-emoji-updates-on-the-way-for-android-apps/">Android AppCompat</a>&nbsp;in 2021.

A select number of users also reported seeing <a href="/zh/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>&nbsp;designs in Samsung&#39;s emoji font when updating to One UI 4.1.1 in September 2022.

One UI 5.0

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices from&nbsp;mid-January 2022, this small emoji updated changed the design of Samsung&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="/zh/%E9%97%AA%E4%BA%AE/">✨ Sparkles</a> emoji to be more consistent&nbsp;with those of other emoji vendors.

Additional devices received this emoji update alongside Samsung&#39;s&nbsp;One UI 4.1 update, which was made widely available in March 2022 after initially debuting with the Galaxy S22 series of devices a month earlier.

Beginning its rollout on&nbsp;2021-11-15 for Samsung&#39;s Galaxy S21 series of mobile devices,&nbsp;Samsung One UI 4.0&nbsp;added support for <a href="/zh/emoji-13.1/">Emoji 13.1</a>.

Beginning its rollout in late July 2021 to select Samsung&rsquo;s Galaxy Z devices, One UI 3.1.1 updated a small number of existing emoji designs.

Select devices running Samsung One UI 3.1 were also given this emoji update&nbsp;via a firmware update in August 2021.

One UI 3.1.1

Released alongside the Galaxy Note 20 on&nbsp;2020-08-21, Samsung One UI 2.5 added support for <a href="/zh/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>. Samsung Experience 8.0 was released on&nbsp;January 19, 2017 and&nbsp;brought compatibility with <a href="/zh/emoji-4.0/">Emoji 4.0</a>, with new professions added, gendered emojis, and the rainbow flag.

A limited range of Samsung devices started <a href="https://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-begins-rollout-of-android-7-0-nougat">receiving</a> this update from January 19, 2017.
