Water Wave
A wave of water, as breaks at the beach. Depicted as a blue wave with a foamy, white crest, curling to the right.
May be used to represent water in general, various bodies of water like oceans, and water activities, such as swimming, surfing, and sailing. May also be used to represent metaphorical waves.
Apple’s design resembles the iconic wave in Japanese artist Hokusai’s famous woodblock print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa (ca. 1830).
