About Apple Emojis

Apple emojis are used on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. These are included as part of the Apple Color Emoji font which comes with iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. Apple's emoji set is also used in Android and web apps including as WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram and Slack.

Note: new emojis are coming to iOS in late October or early November with the release of iOS 11.1. This is now in developer beta.

Custom stickers available in the Apple Messages app are supported for all iMessage users. Apple also has animated emoji stickers on Apple Watch and a new interactive Animoji in iOS 11.

Apple platforms support Private Use Area characters which are not cross-platform compatible. These include:

  •  Apple logo
  • Beats 1 logo
