Diamond Shape with a Dot Inside

A rosette, a stylized, flower-shaped <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosette_(design)">decoration</a>&nbsp;often presented as an award with a ribbon or <a href="/military-medal/">(military) medal</a>. Appears&nbsp;as a motif in&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosette_(design)">ancient cultures</a>. Generally depicted as a circular, yellow-and-orange flower.

Commonly used for <a href="/valentines-day/">Valentine&rsquo;s Day</a>, <a href="/mothers-day/">Mother&rsquo;s Day</a>, and other special occasions. May be more generally used to express such ideas as love, happiness, and beauty.&nbsp;Also used as a yellow accent color.

Not to be confused with <a href="/blossom/">🌼 Blossom</a>, though their applications may overlap.

WhatsApp&#39;s rosette is orange, white, and purple; Twitter&#39;s is purple and blue. Samsung&#39;s was <a href="/samsung/experience-9.0/rosette/">previously</a> pink. A non-emoji Unicode character&nbsp;<a href="/black-rosette/">🏶&nbsp;Black Rosette</a> was once shown as an emoji on LG phones.

A diamond symbol emoji, which is used in card games for the diamonds&nbsp;suit.

Apple&#39;s design <a href="/apple/ios-5.1/diamond-suit/">previously</a> displayed the red diamond symbol on a white playing card.

A jewel or gem, as set into a <a href="/ring/">ring</a>. Depicted in the shape of a classic diamond but in the bright blue color of an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl#Aquamarine_and_maxixe">aquamarine</a>.

Commonly used for various content concerning jewelry, as upon an engagement or <a href="/wedding-marriage/">marriage</a>. May also convey various literal and figurative senses of beauty, wealth, sophistication, preciousness, and sparkling.

Gem Stone

A <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazar_(amulet)#Amulet">nazar</a>, an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil_eye">evil eye</a>, especially in Turkish culture. Depicted as a rich blue, circular bead with a black dot in the center ringed with white and light blue, resembling an <a href="/eye/">eye</a>.

Commonly used to represent eyes, various senses of looking, various senses of&nbsp;charms, envy and jealousy, and&nbsp;<a href="/flag-turkey/">Turkey</a> and Turkish culture. Also used for its blue color more generally.

WhatsApp, Facebook, and Huawei&#39;s designs include a small hole, as for threading the amulet on a string or chain.

A star with six points, and a dot in the center. Similar to the <a href="/star-of-david/" title="✡ Star of David">Star of David emoji</a>.

Two curly loops, which&nbsp;represent&nbsp;a reel-to-reel tape recorder. Used as a symbol&nbsp;for voicemail on many phones.
