Apple&rsquo;s design resembles the iconic wave in&nbsp;Japanese artist Hokusai&rsquo;s famous woodblock print, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Wave_off_Kanagawa">The Great Wave off Kanagawa</a>&nbsp;(ca. 1830).

Water Wave

An orange safety vest with reflective lines across the chest and&nbsp;over the shoulders.

Used in the <a href="/emoji-zwj-sequence/">ZWJ sequence</a> <a href="/service-dog/">🐕&zwj;🦺 Service Dog</a>, which was approved at the same time.&nbsp;A safety vest can also be seen in the designs of <a href="/construction-worker/">👷 Construction Worker</a> on multiple&nbsp;platforms.

Safety Vest

A triangle with an <a href="/exclamation-mark/" title="❗ Heavy Exclamation Mark Symbol">exclamation mark</a> inside, used as a warning or alert.

This emoji is used prominently within social media platform BeReal&#39;s core time-sensitive &quot;⚠️ Time to BeReal&nbsp;⚠️&quot; push notification. This notification is shown&nbsp;when being prompted to&nbsp;share a photo of themselves and their immediate surroundings, with this notification&nbsp;given within a&nbsp;randomly selected two-minute window every day.&nbsp;

Unicode 14.0 is the version of the Unicode Standard&nbsp;released on&nbsp;September 14, 2021.&nbsp;37 new emoji&nbsp;code points were added in this release,&nbsp;with all 112 new emojis (including sequences for skin tones)&nbsp;listed under <a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>.

New emojis&nbsp;added in this release are update expected to come to major platforms in either late 2021 or early&nbsp;2022.
