The oval ball used in the game of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football">American football</a>, known as gridiron in some countries.

American Football

A goat, a sturdy,&nbsp;hoofed animal raised for its meat and milk. Depicted as a light brown, white, or multicored goat in full profile on all fours facing left, a scraggly beard,&nbsp;upright tail,&nbsp;and brown or yellow horns curving back.

Frequently used as a visual shorthand for the slang expression <a href="https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/g-o-a-t/">GOAT</a>, or the Great of All Time, often said of athletes and in particular&nbsp;the late&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_Bryant">Kobe Bryant</a>.

Often considered one of the 12 animals of the <a href="/nl/chinese-new-year/">Chinese zodiac</a>. Also often used to represent <a href="/nl/steenbok-sterrenbeeld/">♑ Capricorn</a> in the Western zodiac.

<a href="/nl/apple/ios-6.0/geit/">Apple</a>, <a href="/nl/google/android-7.0/geit/">Google</a>, and <a href="/nl/samsung/experience-9.0/geit/">Samsung&rsquo;s</a> goats were previously white, as a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saanen_goat">Saanen goat</a>. Facebook&rsquo;s design previously featured only a goat face.

Geit

A beer, as a golden-colored&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lager">lager</a>, in a frosty mug. Depicted with a frothy head spilling over the brim.&nbsp;<a href="/nl/klinkende-bierglazen/">🍻 Clinking Beer Mugs</a>&nbsp;is a variation&nbsp;that displays two such beer mugs.

Bierglas

Two frosty mugs of&nbsp;<a href="/nl/bierglas/">beer&nbsp;</a>with frothy heads being clinked together, as done at a celebratory or convivial&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toast_(honor)">toast</a>&nbsp;(&ldquo;Cheers!&rdquo;). The oval-shaped ball used in the game of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_football">rugby</a>. Varies slightly in shape&nbsp;in the two main versions of the game: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_union">rugby union</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_league">rugby league</a>.

The appearance of this emoji varies, with a brown leather appearance&nbsp;in Apple and Google&rsquo;s imagery,&nbsp;but a more popular&nbsp;white-with-highlight color in Twitter&rsquo;s&nbsp;design.

Rugby

A white piece of paper secured by a silver clip on a brown clipboard, as used as a writing surface when standing. Commonly used for content concerning various types of documents and writing, especially in sports.

Many platforms indicate text with dark lines. WhatsApp&rsquo;s design shows lined paper. Facebook&rsquo;s features the easter egg of a table with first names and numbers, perhaps as birthdates:

South Korean financial technology company Toss (토스) provides its own emoji design set within its mobile application. The design set, entitled Toss Face (토스페이스), has also been made available as a free font file for Apple devices.

First launched in early 2022, the Toss Face emoji set originally included a series of intentionally divergent emoji designs compared to those of other vendors.

The majority of these divergent designs followed two broad themes. Firstly,&nbsp;rendering culturally-specific Japanese emojis with designs representing related South Korean concepts (e.g. the <a href="/nl/sake/">🍶 Sake</a> emoji appearing as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makgeolli">makgeolli</a>).

Secondly, emojis&nbsp;representing older technologies with designs representing more contemporary innovations. (e.g. <a href="/nl/pager/">📟 Pager</a> displaying as instant messaging speech bubbles; <a href="/nl/riksja/">🛺 Auto Rickshaw</a> being displyed as a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unmanned_aerial_vehicle">drone</a>).

In March 2022 these divergent designs were updated to accurately reflect Unicode&#39;s recommendations. In April 2022 they were re-added to the Toss app using <a href="/nl/glossary/">Private Use Area</a> codepoints.&nbsp;

Released 2022-08-16, this Toss Face emoji update&nbsp;added support for <a href="/nl/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> and updated several existing emoji designs&nbsp;to better match those of other vendors.

The update also re-introduced a series of&nbsp;Korean-oriented and future-oriented emoji designs to the Toss Face emoji set via <a href="/nl/glossary/#pua">Private User Area</a> characters.

Released 2022-03-28, this update to the Toss Face emoji set changed a series of previously divergent emoji designs&nbsp;to accurately reflect Unicode&#39;s&nbsp;recommendations.

Released 2022-02-28, the original version of Toss&#39; Toss Face emoji set provided support for emojis up to late 2020&#39;s <a href="/nl/emoji-13.1/">Emoji 13.1</a> recommendations.
