📓 Notebook

A dark-colored, hardcover notebook, as used to write or take notes in school. Commonly used for various content concerning writing and schooling.

Several platforms, including Apple, feature a cover with black-and-white marbling, evoking a classic composition book used in the U.S. Apple's design displays Notes on its cover. Google, Microsoft, and Samsung’s covers were previously yellow or brown.

Notebook was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
