Zero Width Joiner, pronounced &quot;zwidge&quot;, is not an emoji and has no appearance by itself. This&nbsp;is an invisible character when used alone.

Zero Width Joiner

The unique, feathery ice crystal of a snowflake. Depicted as a bluish-white snowflake with six&nbsp;intricate&nbsp;symmetrical branches.

Like <a href="/cloud-with-snow/">🌨️ Cloud With Snow</a>, may be used as a weather icon to represent a snowstorm or a cold, snowy day. A classic teddy bear, as snuggled by a <a href="/child/">child</a>&nbsp;when going to sleep.

Depicted as a brown, stuffed toy bear, shown seated with its arms to the sides, hind paw pads facing forward, and a friendly smile on its face. Google, WhatsApp, and Twitter&#39;s&nbsp;designs include a <a href="/ribbon/">ribbon</a> around the&nbsp;neck, while Facebook&#39;s is wearing a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bow_tie">bow tie</a>.

Commonly used to convey something or someone is cute or cuddly (e.g., teddy bear as a term of endearment) as well as other warm, loving sentiments (e.g., get well soon). May also be used for various content concerning toys and children more generally.

Not to be confused with <a href="/bear/">🐻 Bear Face</a>, though their applications may overlap.

Teddy Bear

A friendly, cartoon-styled face of a panda&mdash;a bear-like mammal known for eating bamboo&mdash;looking straight ahead. Depicted as a white panda face with black ears and black circles around its eyes.

Often used with an affectionate tone and in association with <a href="/flag-china/">China</a>, where the animal is found. Sometimes&nbsp;used to represent a red panda. Does not have a full-bodied panda emoji counterpart.

Available as an Apple <a href="/animoji/">Animoji</a>.

Google and Facebook&rsquo;s pandas are shown smiling with an open mouth and tongue.

Panda Face

A pair of paw prints, as left by a pet <a href="/cat/">🐈 cat</a> or <a href="/dog/">🐕 dog</a>. Generally depicted as two, staggered, dark-colored paw prints, each showing four toes and a pad.

Commonly used for various content concerning pet cats and dogs. Occasionally applied to other quadruped mammals. See also <a href="/footprints/">👣 Footprints</a>.

<a href="/apple/ios-6.0/paw-prints/">Apple</a>,&nbsp;<a href="/google/android-8.0/paw-prints/">Google</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/facebook/2.0/paw-prints/">Facebook&rsquo;s</a> prints were previously red, while <a href="/microsoft/windows-10-anniversary-update/paw-prints/">Microsoft&rsquo;s</a> were orange. Facebook&#39;s earliest design&nbsp;<a href="/facebook/1.0/paw-prints/">originally</a> displayed human footprints.

Paw Prints

A mountain with snow resting at higher altitudes. Similar in appearance to the <a href="/mount-fuji/" title="🗻 Mount Fuji">Mount Fuji</a> emoji.

Snow Capped Mountain

A blue cube of ice. Can be used to talk about ice or cold temperatures in general. This emoji can also be used metaphorically to talk about something that is cool or chill.

Ice Cube

A gray seal with dark eyes and a dark nose. Most platforms feature a design with whiskers.

Can be used to talk about seals, marine life, or cute animals in general. May also be used in phrases with &#39;sealed&#39; as in sealed with a kiss, my lips are sealed, or&nbsp;signed, sealed, and delivered.

Samsung devices use <a href="https://news.samsung.com/global/samsungs-emoji-suite-makes-for-a-more-emotional-digital-world">their own emoji designs</a>&nbsp;which are different to those used on other <a href="/google/">Android devices</a>. These&nbsp;glossy emojis&nbsp;appear on devices such as the Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy Note series and are updated as part of the Samsung One UI interface layer (previously Samsung Experience, before that Samsung TouchWiz)&nbsp;which runs on top of Android.

Note that Samsung users may see select emojis display as their <a href="/google/">Google</a>&nbsp;set design. This is due to <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/faster-emoji-updates-on-the-way-for-android-apps/">Android AppCompat</a>, which will display a Google emoji design within an app or web platform&nbsp;when a Samsung device has not yet been updated to support that particular emoji.

Since the introduction of Samsung&#39;s emoji set in <a href="/samsung/touchwiz-2.0">2014</a>, various Unicode characters that have not been recommended to have emoji presentation have nevertheless been given a colorful emoji design on Samsung platforms. Samsung Emoji List — Emojis for Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy Note [Updated 2023]

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices on 28 March 2024, Samsung&#39;s One UI 6.1&nbsp;revised a considerable number of previously available emoji designs.

Many emojis had subtle modifications made to their outline, contrast, and shading, including the majority of&nbsp;<a href="/people">🧑 People</a> emojis. Meanwhile, many emojis within&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href="/travel-places">🚀 Travel &amp; Places</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/objects">💡 Objects</a> categories were given more extensive redesigns.&nbsp;

One UI 6.1

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices on 30&nbsp;October 2023, Samsung&#39;s One UI 6.0&nbsp;featured a completely new design style for the majority of the vendor&#39;s emojis.

All smiley, food, and animal emoji designs have been revised in this update, as have the majority of the people emojis.

This is the most significant revision of the vendor&#39;s emoji set since&nbsp;February 2018&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="https://emojipedia.org/samsung/experience-9.0">Experience 9.0</a> update, which introduced a significant number of design revisions that were consistent with those used on other platforms.

This update also introduced support for the 2023 <a href="https://emojipedia.org/emoji-15.1">Emoji 15.1</a> recommendation list.

One UI 6.0

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices from October 2022, Samsung&#39;s One UI 5.0 provided support for both&nbsp;2021&#39;s <a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a> and 2022&#39;s <a href="https://emojipedia.org/emoji-15.0/">Emoji 15.0</a>&nbsp;recommendations.

Prior to the release of One UI 5.0, many Samsung users may have seen support for <a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>&nbsp;emojis provided via <a href="/google/">Google&#39;s emoji design set</a>. This was due to Google&#39;s expansion of&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/faster-emoji-updates-on-the-way-for-android-apps/">Android AppCompat</a>&nbsp;in 2021.

A select number of users also reported seeing <a href="/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>&nbsp;designs in Samsung&#39;s emoji font when updating to One UI 4.1.1 in September 2022.

One UI 5.0

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices from&nbsp;mid-January 2022, this small emoji updated changed the design of Samsung&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="/sparkles/">✨ Sparkles</a> emoji to be more consistent&nbsp;with those of other emoji vendors.

Additional devices received this emoji update alongside Samsung&#39;s&nbsp;One UI 4.1 update, which was made widely available in March 2022 after initially debuting with the Galaxy S22 series of devices a month earlier.

Beginning its rollout on&nbsp;2021-11-15 for Samsung&#39;s Galaxy S21 series of mobile devices,&nbsp;Samsung One UI 4.0&nbsp;added support for <a href="/emoji-13.1/">Emoji 13.1</a>.

Beginning its rollout in late July 2021 to select Samsung&rsquo;s Galaxy Z devices, One UI 3.1.1 updated a small number of existing emoji designs.

Select devices running Samsung One UI 3.1 were also given this emoji update&nbsp;via a firmware update in August 2021.

One UI 3.1.1

Released alongside the Galaxy Note 20 on&nbsp;2020-08-21, Samsung One UI 2.5 added support for <a href="/emoji-13.0/">Emoji 13.0</a>. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recieved an update on 22 September 2016, commonly referred to&nbsp;as the &quot;green battery update&quot;.
