A year later&nbsp;<a href="/diving-mask/">🤿&nbsp;Diving Mask</a>, which is&nbsp;similar in design&nbsp;but used&nbsp;to represent swimming goggles rather than safety goggles,&nbsp;was approved.

A plain t-shirt, that can be worn by men or women. Displayed as a blue polo shirt on iOS, a&nbsp;light blue ringer t-shirt on Android, Samsung and Windows, or a standard green tee on other platforms.

The Facebook version of this emoji <a href="/facebook/1.0/t-shirt/">previously</a>&nbsp;had&nbsp;a capital H on the front.

T-Shirt

A single flip flop or thong sandal.&nbsp;Often worn to the beach and/or in warm weather. Can be used to talk about sandals, the beach, or warm weather in general.

A hat worn by women for sun protection, or for fashion.

The Apple version of this hat is made of straw and has a green bow on the front.&nbsp;Google shows a straw hat with a purple ribbon, though this ribbon was previously <a href="/google/android-8.0/womans-hat/">red</a>. Twitter&#39;s design&nbsp;features a&nbsp;flower on the front of the&nbsp;hat, as did an <a href="/microsoft/windows-10/womans-hat/">early</a> Microsoft design.

The cane has a black or gray handle with a wrist loop, a white middle section, and a red end with a white cap. This cane differs from a support cane and is sometimes called a probing cane.

The Unicode Consortium approved the following characters as part of <a href="http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode7.0.0/">Unicode 7.0</a>, released on June 16, 2014.&nbsp;Support for these emoji characters rely on updates from platform vendors such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft.

Initially, 250&nbsp;new characters in Unicode 7.0 were approved for emoji presentation, however this was later reduced to 103 Standard Additions which are listed below. The other characters remain part of Unicode, but are not recommended&nbsp;to be included as emojis.

The exception to this was the <a href="/left-speech-bubble/" title="🗨 Left Speech Bubble">Left Speech Bubble</a>, and as such wasn&#39;t initially specified on other platforms as an emoji. A later-accepted&nbsp;<a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/diverse-spy-proposal/">proposal</a>&nbsp;updated this.
