Released on October 17, 2017 this update added support for <a href="/sv/emoji-5.0/">Emoji 5.0</a> and changed the appearance of a number of existing emojis.

Windows 10 Creators Update was the first major&nbsp;emoji update from Microsoft in 2017.

Windows 10 Creators Update

Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version&nbsp;1607), aka &quot;Emojiversary Update&quot;&nbsp;was <a href="https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/06/29/windows-10-anniversary-update-available-august-2/">released</a> on August 2, 2016 and&nbsp;included&nbsp;a complete redesign of every emoji in the Segoe UI Emoji font.
