Emoji Meaning

Apple and WhatsApp’s designs depict the ¥1,000 banknote, Facebook’s features a Japanese character for yen (ๅ) and a cherry blossom.
Yen Banknote was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name โBanknote with Yen Signโ and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
