Beginning rollout across global Facebook users in July, Facebook's 2020 emoji update included brand new emojis from Emoij 12.1 and Emoji 13.0 as well as new gender neutral designs for a large number of previously-released people emojis.

The update did not, however, include the 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 People Holding Hands or 🧑‍🦲 Person: Bald variations recommended in Emoji 12.1.
