A fist raised in the air that may be used as a celebratory gesture: the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fist_pump">fist pump</a>.&nbsp;Can also be used to represent <a href="/keycap-digit-zero/" title="0⃣ Keycap 0">zero</a> items, due to a lack of any fingers being held up.

Sometimes used as a symbol of&nbsp;<a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/the-resistance-will-be-emojified/">resistance</a>&nbsp;or defiance. Variations with darker skin tone are commonly used <a href="/raised-fist-dark-skin-tone/">to represent the #BlackLivesMatter movement</a>.

A minor release that added emojis for&nbsp;<a href="/superhero/">superhero</a> and <a href="/supervillain/">supervillain</a> at a draft stage, prior to these gaining human appearance and skin tone support.
