Call Me Hand

A red brick or bricks. Depicted in a loose stack, a single object with holes, or as built into wall, as of a <a href="/house/">house</a>, <a href="/school/">school</a>, or other structure.

Commonly used for various content concerning building and construction. May also be used for figurative bricks, e.g., slang brick, &ldquo;extremely cold (weather).&rdquo;

Brick

A mobile phone (cell phone), as used to text, check social media, or take <a href="/selfie/">selfies</a>. Depicted as a black or gray smartphone with a generic blue screen or multicolored app icons. Commonly used for various content concerning mobile phones, technology, and communication.

The designs from Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Samsung resemble phones offered by their respective companies, e.g., iPhone. WhatsApp&rsquo;s design features a night sky as its wallpaper, displaying the time as 9:34.

Passport Control

A customs officer inspecting <a href="/left-luggage/" title="🛅 Left Luggage">luggage</a>. May be shown on signage at airports or other border crossings.

Not to be confused with the <a href="/passport-control/" title="4. Open Picasa, and click the “Import” tab in the top-right. 5. You should see a bunch of photos in this view, which are on the iPad. Scroll to the bottom of the list to see the photos you just saved. 6. Click on the first photo you want to keep. Then hold shift and click on the last photo. Google&#39;s design includes the text &quot;under&quot; above the&nbsp;number eighteen.

The Samsung version of this emoji <a href="/samsung/touchwiz-5.1/no-one-under-eighteen/">previously displayed&nbsp;the number 19</a>. This may have been&nbsp;due to the&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Asian_age_reckoning">practice</a> of&nbsp;counting&nbsp;the first year of life as&nbsp;one instead of&nbsp;zero&nbsp;in parts of East Asia such&nbsp;as&nbsp;<a href="/flag-south-korea/" title="🇰🇷 Flag for South Korea">South Korea</a>&nbsp;(the location of the Samsung Headquarters).

No One Under Eighteen Symbol

An icon representing vibration mode on a <a href="/mobile-phone/" title="📱 Mobile Phone">mobile phone</a>, indicating that a phone should be switched to silent and/or vibrate mode.

Displayed as a phone with either zig-zag lines or muted-bell icon on most platforms. <a href="/softbank/2014/vibration-mode/">Early versions</a> of this emoji&nbsp;often used a <a href="/apple/ios-6.0/vibration-mode/">heart alongside a mobile phone</a>, as commonly <a href="https://twitter.com/alexcreid/status/1065315127216521217">seen in Japan</a>.

Mobile Phone Off

Two curly loops, which&nbsp;represent&nbsp;a reel-to-reel tape recorder. Used as a symbol&nbsp;for voicemail on many phones.
