100 emoji: the number one-hundred, written in red, underlined twice for emphasis.

Originating from the number 100&nbsp;written on a school exam or paper&nbsp;to indicate a perfect score&nbsp;of 100 out of 100.&nbsp; Teachers in Japan may&nbsp;also&nbsp;use a <a href="/white-flower/" title="💮 White Flower">stamp</a>&nbsp;in addition to the 100 mark, to indicate&nbsp;that a student has performed very well.

This 100&nbsp;emoji&nbsp;is commonly used as a shorthand for 100%, with the usage meaning &ldquo;keep it real&rdquo; or a similar sentiment. A 100 emoji can be used to express pride or general acceptance of an idea.

In <a href="/snapchat/" title="👻 Snapchat Emoji Meanings">Snapchat</a>, the 100 emoji appearing next to a <a href="/fire/" title="🔥 Fire">fire emoji</a> indicates a 100 day Snapstreak.

Hundred Points Symbol

A red symbol found in Anime/Manga and&nbsp;used&nbsp;to represent the&nbsp;<a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CrossPoppingVeins">veins popping</a> on a very angry person.

Also&nbsp;used in other&nbsp;comic books to indicate a punch landed, perhaps next to the words &ldquo;Bam&rdquo; or &ldquo;Pow&rdquo;.

Anger Symbol

An emoji showing the fingers held together in a vertical orientation, often referred to as the Italian hand gesture ma che vuoi, sometimes called the &quot;finger purse.&quot;&nbsp;In Italy this gesture tends to be used in disagreement, frustration, or disbelief and can mean &ldquo;What do you want?&rdquo; or &ldquo;What are you saying?&rdquo; Outside Italy anyone performing a caricature of an Italian person, regardless of context or tone, might use this gesture.

Pinched Fingers has a variety of other culturally specific uses. In Israeli culture it can mean &ldquo;hold on,&rdquo; &ldquo;relax,&rdquo; or &ldquo;be patient.&rdquo; The K-Pop star <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwon_Yu-ri">Yuri</a> uses it as a signature gesture to represent a <a href="/dumpling/">dumpling</a> and a general warm sentiment. It can also be used to represent the act of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisting">fisting</a>.

Not to be confused with <a href="/pinching-hand/">🤏 Pinching Hand</a>, which has overlapping senses. Both are used to represent <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/the-pinching-hand-emoji-is-a-lot/">precision</a> when someone is making a sharp point with accompanying speech.

Pinched Fingers

Most commonly known as a ✌️&nbsp;Peace Sign, but traditionally called&nbsp;as a Victory Hand.&nbsp;Two&nbsp;fingers held up on one hand making a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_sign">V sign</a>.

The reverse of this symbol is considered an offence gesture in <a href="/flag-united-kingdom/" title="🇬🇧 Flag For United Kingdom">British</a> culture, similar to giving the <a href="/middle-finger/" title="🖕 Reversed Hand With Middle Finger Extended">middle finger</a>.

Victory Hand

A fist raised in the air that may be used as a celebratory gesture: the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fist_pump">fist pump</a>.&nbsp;Can also be used to represent <a href="/keycap-digit-zero/" title="0⃣ Keycap 0">zero</a> items, due to a lack of any fingers being held up.

Sometimes used as a symbol of&nbsp;<a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/the-resistance-will-be-emojified/">resistance</a>&nbsp;or defiance. Variations with darker skin tone are commonly used <a href="/raised-fist-dark-skin-tone/">to represent the #BlackLivesMatter movement</a>.

Raised Fist

A fist pointing left, which may be used in conjunction with the <a href="/right-facing-fist/" title="🤜 Right-Facing Fist">right-facing fist</a> to complete a <a href="/oncoming-fist/" title="👊 Fisted Hand Sign">fist-bump</a> gesture.

Left-Facing Fist

A fist pointing right, which may be used in conjunction with the&nbsp;<a href="/left-facing-fist/" title="🤛 Left-Facing Fist">left-facing fist</a>&nbsp;to complete a&nbsp;<a href="/oncoming-fist/" title="👊 Fisted Hand Sign">fist-bump</a>&nbsp;gesture.

Right-Facing Fist

Two hands placed firmly together, meaning please&nbsp;or&nbsp;thank you&nbsp;in Japanese culture.&nbsp;A common alternative use&nbsp;for this emoji is for prayer, using the same gesture as&nbsp;praying hands. It can also represent&nbsp;a respectful greeting or show of adoration many in Southeast Asian religions and cultures, such as the Hindu namaste or Buddhist a&ntilde;jali mudra.

A previous&nbsp;version of this&nbsp;emoji&nbsp;displayed a <a href="/apple/ios-6.0/folded-hands/" title="🙏 Person With Folded Hands on Apple iOS 6.0">yellow burst of light behind the two hands</a>&nbsp;on iOS. Android once&nbsp;showed a blob-character with <a href="/google/android-5.0/folded-hands/" title="🙏 Person With Folded Hands on Google Android 5.0">closed eyes and folded hands</a>.

An arm flexing to show its biceps muscle. Represents strength, or working out.

Flexed Biceps

A person bowing deeply which is known as&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogeza" target="_blank" title="Dogeza on Wikipedia">dogeza</a> in Japan. Used to express a sincere apology,&nbsp;or to request a large favour.

Many variations of this&nbsp;emoji are misinterpreted as a person doing push-ups, lying down to have&nbsp;a massage, or doing a cute &quot;head resting on hands&quot; gesture.

Note that Samsung users may see select emojis display as their <a href="/google/">Google</a>&nbsp;set design. This is due to <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/faster-emoji-updates-on-the-way-for-android-apps/">Android AppCompat</a>, which will display a Google emoji design within an app or web platform&nbsp;when a Samsung device has not yet been updated to support that particular emoji.

Samsung Emoji List — Emojis for Samsung Galaxy, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Z Fold [Updated 2024]

First released in July 2024 for Samsung&#39;s Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 devices, the&nbsp;One UI 6.1.1&nbsp;began its broader rollout in early September 2024.

This update revised the designs of every&nbsp;<a href="/flags">🎌 Flag</a> emoji and various emojis from the&nbsp;<a href="/objects">💡 Objects</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/symbols">💕 Symbols</a>&nbsp;categories.

One UI 6.1.1

Beginning its rollout for select Samsung devices on 28 March 2024, Samsung&#39;s One UI 6.1&nbsp;revised a considerable number of previously available emoji designs.

Many emojis had subtle modifications made to their outline, contrast, and shading, including the majority of&nbsp;<a href="/people">🧑 People</a> emojis. Meanwhile, many emojis within&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href="/travel-places">🚀 Travel &amp; Places</a> and&nbsp;<a href="/objects">💡 Objects</a> categories were given more extensive redesigns.&nbsp;
