This update to Google&#39;s Noto Color Emoji set introduced support for 2023&#39;s Emoji 15.1 recommendations.

Additionally, the family emojis have been changed to have a silhouette icon design, matching the new non-gender-specifying family emojis from&nbsp;Emoji 15.1.

First made available via Github on 2023-11-17, this update is expected to be&nbsp;released progressively across different Google platforms such as Chrome OS, Gmail, YouTube, and various Android devices.

Android 4.4 was the first release from Google to include support for color emoji designs&nbsp;and introduced a new bloblike gumdrop character which is used for various gestures and smileys.

iOS 14.6

New emojis from Apple for 2021 available as part of&nbsp;iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and macOS 11.3.

Google&rsquo;s design is red and Facebook&rsquo;s has black horns, green eyes, and clenched teeth.

Its Unicode name, Imp, alludes to a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imp">small demon</a> in folklore, though the smiley is commonly used to represent devils and devilish behavior, especially around <a href="/halloween/">Halloween</a>. Unamused Face

A yellow face with scrunched, X-shaped eyes and a crumpled mouth, as if quivering in frustration or holding back tears. May be used to represent being overcome with various emotions, including irritation, frustration, disgust, and sadness,&nbsp;as if to the point of defeat.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Microsoft and Twitter&rsquo;s designs feature&nbsp;eyebrows, Facebook&rsquo;s a purple forehead.
