<p>Rolled out on 2023-07-23, this minor update to the Twemoji emoji set revised the designs of the <a href="https://emojipedia.org/face-with-medical-mask">😷 Face with Medical Mask</a>, <a href="https://emojipedia.org/pleading-face">🥺 Pleading Face</a>, and <a href="https://emojipedia.org/face-holding-back-tears">🥹 Face Holding Back Tears</a> emojis.</p>

<p>These three emoji designs had previously been updated within the Twitter web application&#39;s emoji picker tool, but not within tweets themselves prior to this update.</p>

<p>Rolling out globally from 2023-06-13, Twemoji 15.0 introduced support for September 2022&#39;s Emoji 15.0 recommendation to Twitter&#39;s classic block color emoji set.</p>
