Beginning its rollout for Android devices on 2025-01-21, WhatsApp 2.25.1.75 debuted support for 2024&#39;s <a href="/emoji-16.0">Emoji 16.0</a> recommendations on Android devices.

A similarly timed update for WhatsApp&#39;s desktop application introduced support for the same new emojis.
