Tropical Fish

A shark, a large, stealthy fish with many teeth. Apple&rsquo;s design <a href="/apple/ios-4.0/spiral-shell/">previously</a> resembled a clam shell, <a href="/microsoft/windows-10/spiral-shell/">Microsoft&rsquo;s</a> a snail shell. <a href="/google/android-7.0/spiral-shell/">Google&rsquo;s</a> was previously blue.

Spiral Shell

This emoji tends to spike in popularity during the <a href="/summer">summer</a> months.

Beach with Umbrella

A small sand-covered island with a central&nbsp;<a href="/palm-tree">palm tree</a>. Occasionally also features a <a href="/coconut">coconut </a>or two.

During the summer of 2024 this emoji became associated with then-Vice President of the Untied States Kamala Harris, referencing a viral clip of a speech made in May 2023 where she stated: &quot;You think you just fell out of a coconut tree? Desert Island

A sailboat, otherwise known as a sailing boat or yacht. &nbsp;Uses wind as the source of propulsion to move around a body of water.

Water Wave

A gold medal, given to a person who has won a sporting event, such as a race.

Usually shown as a circular medal with an embedded&nbsp;<a href="/star">⭐ Star</a> design attached to a colorful ribbon. Distinctly,&nbsp;Huawei&#39;s design contains the text &quot;FUTURE STAR&quot; at the bottom of its unique medal shape.

A diving mask with a snorkel,&nbsp;used for scuba diving or other underwater activities. Colors vary across platforms.

<a href="/goggles/">🥽 Goggles</a> is similar in design, but used primarily to represent safety goggles rather than swimming goggles.

Originally depicted as a classic handgun, as a revolver or other pistol. In 2016, <a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/apple-and-the-gun-emoji/">Apple switched its design</a> from weapon&nbsp;to toy; other major vendors followed suit by 2018. Deprecated emoji sets or smaller platforms still display the emoji as a handgun.&nbsp;
