Softbank <a href="/softbank/2006/horse-face/">previously</a> featured a full-bodied horse.

May be used to represent various types of horses and their metaphorical senses (e.g., mustang, stallion).

One of the 12 animals of the <a href="/chinese-new-year/">Chinese zodiac</a>. Often used to represent<a href="/taurus/"> ♉ Taurus</a> (the Bull) in the Western zodiac. 2021 is Year of the Ox.

Often used to represent a bull and occasionally paired with <a href="/pile-of-poo/">💩 Pile of Poo</a> to stand in for slang terms.&nbsp;Not to be confused with <a href="/water-buffalo/">🐃 Water Buffalo</a>.

Microsoft&#39;s&nbsp;cow was <a href="/microsoft/windows-10/cow/">previously</a> brown, as was <a href="/facebook/2.0/cow/">Facebook&#39;s</a>, which had&nbsp;a bell around its neck.

An elephant, the largest land animal on Earth,&nbsp;with a long trunk and, often, tusks. Generally depicted in gray in full profile on all fours facing left, with tusks and prominent ears, as an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_elephant">African</a> (vs. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_elephant">Asian</a>) elephant.

<a href="/google/android-7.0/elephant/">Google</a> and <a href="/facebook/2.0/elephant/">Facebook&rsquo;s</a> elephants were previously blue in color. Samsung&rsquo;s design <a href="/samsung/experience-9.0/elephant/">previously</a> featured a cartoon-styled elephant with a red blanket&nbsp;on its back and blowing a <a href="/red-heart/">red heart</a> from its trunk.

Because the elephant is a symbol of the Republican Party of the United States, it may be used in political contexts

Elephant

The fleshy, pinkish-orange fruit of the fuzzy peach, shown with green leaves and sometimes a stem.

Thanks to its distinctive cleft, the emoji is most&nbsp;<a href="http://blog.emojipedia.org/how-we-really-use-the-peach/">commonly used</a> for &ldquo;buttocks.&rdquo; In certain contexts, the <a href="https://slate.com/technology/2019/09/peach-emoji-meaning-butt-impeachment.html">peach emoji may refer to&nbsp;impeachment</a>.

In 2016 Apple unveiled a <a href="https://x.com/Emojipedia/status/799291515285610500">new design</a> for the peach emoji during the iOS 10.2 beta period. This change would have deemphasized its&nbsp;distinctive cleft, leading to criticism from Apple users. Ultimately this change was not implemented.

Peach

A mountain with snow resting at higher altitudes. Similar in appearance to the <a href="/mount-fuji/" title="🗻 Mount Fuji">Mount Fuji</a> emoji.

Snow Capped Mountain

A mountain shown with two peaks and blue sky. Similar to the <a href="/snow-capped-mountain/" title="🏔 Snow Capped Mountain">snow capped mountain emoji</a>.

A national park, generally displayed with <a href="/mountain/" title="⛰ Mountain">mountains</a>, a river or stream, and <a href="/evergreen-tree/" title="🌲 Evergreen Tree">trees</a>.

A suitcase or bag, as used for traveling. Most platforms depict gray or blue rolling luggage with an extended handle. Commonly used for various content concerning traveling or taking trips, whether for business or leisure.

Apple&rsquo;s design features an old-fashioned, leather, trunk-styled case with graphic <a href="https://www.citylab.com/design/2013/05/lost-art-luggage-labels/5652/">luggage labels</a>/stickers, not to be confused with <a href="/briefcase/">💼&nbsp;Briefcase</a> or <a href="/handbag/">👜&nbsp;Handbag</a>. Google and Facebook also include such stickers.

Luggage

Brightly colored rope forming a knot. Knot type varies across platform, with most designs showing a square knot, a figure eight knot, or a carrick bend. Samsung&#39;s design appears to be a carrick bend, but upon closer inspection, it is not correctly tied and would fall apart with a gentle tug.&nbsp;

Used to talk about rope or knots in general. Sometimes used in the context of marriage alongside the idiom tying the knot.&nbsp;Also used in the kink community to talk about bondage. May be used as a stand-in for the word &#39;not&#39;&nbsp;in emoji rebus puzzles.

Knot

A closed, blue, hardcover book. Commonly used for various content concerning reading, writing, learning, and schooling. May also be used as a blue accent color.

Apple&rsquo;s cover features the easter egg Vol. 3 by <a href="https://www.mactrast.com/2017/05/who-exactly-is-john-appleseed/" style="font-style: italic;">John Appleseed</a>.&nbsp;Samsung&rsquo;s design&nbsp;<a href="/samsung/experience-9.0/blue-book/">previously</a>&nbsp;included the text&nbsp;Blue Book.

Note that in the U.S., this emoji may be associated with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_book_exam">blue book exams</a> and the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelley_Blue_Book">Kelley Blue Book</a>.

Commonly used for content concerning shipping, delivery, and moving as well as for boxes more generally.

A ballot box, as used to cast votes in an election. Depicted as a box, generally blue or gray, with a slot on top through which a paper ballot is being inserted. Many platforms display a&nbsp;<a href="/cross-mark/">cross mark</a>&nbsp;or <a href="/check-mark/">check mark</a> on the ballot to indicate a vote, though Apple and Facebook leave theirs blank.

Commonly used for various content concerning voting and elections, especially in politics and government.

Ballot Box with Ballot

A checkbox showing a <a href="/check-mark/" title="✔️ Heavy Check Mark">check mark</a>&nbsp;inside the box. Not to be confused with the similarly named&nbsp;<a href="/ballot-box-with-ballot/" title="🗳 Ballot Box With Ballot">Ballot Box With Ballot</a> emoji, though Samsung did originally include a ballot box as part of this emoji&#39;s design.

This emoji is not supported in Twitter names, possibly in an attempt to minimize confusion with a verified checkmark.
