Released on 14&nbsp;March 2022, this was the first version of iOS to support the 112 new emojis in&nbsp;<a href="/ko/emoji-14.0/">Emoji 14.0</a>, including various multiple skin tone versions of the <a href="/ko/%EC%95%85%EC%88%98/">🤝 Handshake</a> emoji.

This Apple emoji update changed the appearance of the <a href="/ko/%EC%86%90%EC%9C%BC%EB%A1%9C-%EC%9E%85%EC%9D%84-%EA%B0%80%EB%A6%B0-%EC%96%BC%EA%B5%B4/">🤭&nbsp;Face with Hand Over Mouth</a>&nbsp;emoji to be more consistent with the designs of other vendors, with this emoji&#39;s originaly design being given to the new <a href="/ko/emoji-14.0/">🫢 Face with Open Eyes and Hand Over Mouth</a>&nbsp;emoji.

Taking into account a series of additional&nbsp;<a href="/ko/glossary/#non-rgi">non-RGI</a>&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%EC%95%85%EC%88%98/">🤝 Handshake</a> emoji sequences, there are 123 new emojis in this release.

iOS 15.4

Released on 2021-05-24, this update changed the appearance&nbsp;of the various&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%ED%81%B4%EB%9D%BC%EC%9D%B4%EB%B0%8D%ED%95%98%EB%8A%94-%EC%82%AC%EB%9E%8C/">🧗 Person Climbing</a> emojis to have the person wearing a safety helmet.

iOS 14.6

New emojis from Apple for 2021 available as part of&nbsp;iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and macOS 11.3.

This Apple emoji update changed the appearance of the&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%EC%A3%BC%EC%82%AC%EA%B8%B0/">💉&nbsp;Syringe</a>&nbsp;emoji&nbsp;to remove the blood, and added mixed skin tone support to&nbsp;<a href="/ko/%ED%82%A4%EC%8A%A4/">💏&nbsp;Kiss</a> and <a href="/ko/%EC%97%B0%EC%9D%B8/">💑&nbsp;Couple with Heart</a>.

Extraterrestrial Alien

A stylized globe, with blue <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meridian_(geography)">meridians</a> (longitudes) and latitude. Depicted with light-blue grid&nbsp;of lines on a white, blue, or empty circle.

May be used as a symbol of the internet or world wide web, global communications, international affairs, connectivity and networks, time zones, coordinates, or the world more generally.

May appear as an icon on Apple devices to change (language) keyboards.

Commonly used for various content concerning traveling and exploring as well as metaphorical compasses (e.g., moral compass).

A giraffe, the tallest animal on Earth, with spots and a long neck. Generally depicted in yellow or tan in full profile on all fours facing left, with distinctive brown spots and small, horn-like structures.

Samsung&rsquo;s designs feature a giraffe face looking straight ahead. Facebook&rsquo;s design <a href="/facebook/2.1/giraffe/">previously</a> featured only a giraffe face, as did <a href="/microsoft/windows-10-fall-creators-update/giraffe/">Microsoft&#39;s</a>.

Giraffe Face

Apple, Google, Microsoft, WhatsApp, and Facebook&rsquo;s designs feature the full animal, while&nbsp;Samsung&nbsp;and Twitter&rsquo;s designs feature only the&nbsp;rhinoceros&#39; head.
